About Chasing Creative

Chasing Creative is a strategy-first creative agency based in Palm Coast, Florida. We produce video, brand strategy, Webflow sites, paid media, SEO, and content for B2B tech, data center, critical infrastructure, and industrial brands. We work as a collective of vetted professionals and bring in trusted local talent for on-site productions.

The Project

We're producing a multi-day brand film on location in the Boise, Idaho area. The shoot covers interviews, b-roll, stills, and aerials both inside and outside the facility. The client is under NDA, and project details are shared only with shortlisted candidates who have signed.

The Role

You'll be our Second Shooter, B-Camera Operator, and licensed drone pilot, working alongside our director on set. On the ground, you'll run a second camera during interviews, capture b-roll and stills, and give hands-on daily production support. In the air, you'll own aerial planning, airspace authorization, and safe flights. This is a hybrid role. We need someone who can switch quickly between photo, video, and drone, and who knows how to work safely and quietly in an active work environment.

What You'll Do

Camera & Photo

• Run B-cam on two-camera interviews: framing, focus, exposure, and matching the A-cam look
• Shoot cinematic b-roll of people, spaces, and process
• Capture professional stills for web and social use
• Help with lighting, audio, grip, and moving gear between locations

Drone

• Check airspace before the shoot and file LAANC or other FAA authorizations as needed
• Walk the site with the director and site safety staff, and plan flight paths
• Fly cinematic exterior aerials: reveals, orbits, tracking, and establishing shots
• Fly controlled indoor flights around people, equipment, and tight spaces, within the safety limits set with the site

Data & Safety

• Offload and back up all media daily, and keep an accurate media log
• Follow the shot list and on-site safety rules, including PPE and restricted-area and privacy guidelines

You're a Fit If

• You have 5+ years of professional photo and video experience
• You hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required)
• You have commercial drone liability insurance, or can get it before the shoot
• You can provide at least one professional reference from a past production (required)
• You've worked as a second shooter, B-cam operator, or camera assistant on commercial or corporate productions
• You're comfortable on cinema and mirrorless systems (Sony FX/Alpha, Canon C-series, Blackmagic, or similar)
• You know interview setups: lighting, lav and boom audio, and matching two cameras
• You're confident flying indoors in tight or GPS-denied spaces with precise manual control
• You're professional, low-ego, and safety-first
• You're comfortable with work-for-hire terms, and can sign NDAs with both the agency and the client

Bonus Points

• Experience shooting on active job sites or other controlled-access locations
• FPV or cinewhoop experience for interior fly-throughs
• Your own professional kit (camera body, lenses, lights, audio, or aircraft)
• OSHA 10 or similar site-safety training

Schedule & Logistics

Three shoot days, plus prep and travel. Dates to be confirmed. Local Boise-area candidates are strongly preferred. For non-local candidates, we cover travel and lodging.

Terms (Fine Print)

This is a work-for-hire engagement. All footage, photos, aerials, audio, project files, and other materials created during the engagement are the sole property of Chasing Creative and its client from the moment they're created. You keep no ownership, license, or usage rights to them.

The selected contractor must sign a non-disclosure agreement with Chasing Creative and a separate NDA with the client brand before the shoot.

You may not share, post, publish, or use any footage, stills, behind-the-scenes content, or client details in your own portfolio, reel, website, or social media, or in any other marketing, without prior written approval from Chasing Creative.

The engagement includes a non-compete and non-solicitation agreement. You agree not to solicit or accept work directly from this client, or perform similar services for them outside of Chasing Creative, during the engagement and for a set period afterward. Full terms are in the contractor agreement.
